Goss Web Offset Press

In January 2003, RIT began operation of a new six-unit, 57” wide Goss Sunday 2000 Web Offset Press. This $10 million press resides in the newly constructed, environmentally controlled Goss Web Press Laboratory. Augmented by nearly $2 million worth of auxiliary equipment, including state-of-the-art closed loop color control, RIT can provide the industry with the foremost facility in the world for education and research in web offset printing.

Print Materials and Analysis Lab

The Print and Materials Analysis Laboratory (PMAL) is an independent testing laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and technical staff with expertise in industry printing, color, and materials evaluation standards, including ISO, ASTM, DIN, FINAT, and TAPPI. . PMAL has established a long term relationship and excellent reputation supporting the quality assurance, troubleshooting, and product development efforts of diverse companies from around the globe.
